New company launched to offer advice to business owners
Two of York’s leading financial advisers have launched a new business that will focus on offering pension advice for business owners.
Founded by Peter Lunan and supported by fellow director, Keith Stephenson, they have both worked in the industry for many years and have set up Bootham Pensions and Investments, based in York.
Peter previously worked for high end SSAS (small self administered scheme) pension trustee and adviser Day Cooper Day and both directors also previously worked at York-based Grosvenor Financial Consultants. Keith has over 30 years experience in the financial services industry including working for the Prudential and Leeds Building Society.
Founder Peter Lunan explained, “We are very excited to be launching this new company and can see a big gap in the current market to offer bespoke advice to business owners on the best use of their pensions.
“Our aim is to provide the best possible service to our clients and we hope to be in a position to grow quickly and build up a strong team of financial professionals in York.
Simon Middleton of Make it York added: “This is fantastic news for the local economy and looked forward to working and supporting the new venture in its early stages.”
